Cheer

I started my cheer journey in 9th grade on my high school’s varsity cheer team. In 10th grade I was named an All-American cheerleader, and in 11th grade I was named Captain of the team. Also in 11th grade I tried out for my first all-star cheer team at Steele Athletics, where I made a Worlds team, which meant I was on the second highest of the seven all-star cheer levels. In both my season cheering at Steele, I have been named Athlete of the Week!

My second year at Steele, I began my coaching journey, coaching Diamonds, a cheerabilities team. Cheerabilities is a division in Allstar cheerleading for athletes of all ages with varying disabilities. It is so rewarding to motivate, encourage and teach my athletes!
